The foundation offers this scholarship because state and local support of the horse industry is important. It is aimed at reinforcing the importance of our youth affiliate ambassadors. Youth leaders who show active involvement through their state affiliate may be eligible for scholarships supported by Alabama, Arkansas, Alaska, Arizona, Indiana, British Columbia (Canada), Florida, Michigan,  Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. This scholarship is for students who have been members of AQHA or AQHYA for the minimum of one year, are from Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, or Tennessee, and is part of AQHA-approved show competitions. Members are mandated to apply while enrolled at an accredited college or university or during their senior year of high school. The recipient must be in possession of a GPA of at least 2.5 and must maintain it afterward. Recipients of AQHF scholarship, either current or previous, are not eligible to apply. Funding for this scholarship will be applied to an undergraduate degree program of the student’s choice for a duration of four years.

The Arkansas Chamber Singers Vocal/Choral Music Scholarship is established with a mission in focus that will source of encouragement and promotion to the art of choral music. It is expected of the students to master the skills and acquire the knowledge that will bring about the highest quality of choral music performance in the state of Arkansas. Everyone applying for the Arkansas Chamber Singers Vocal/Choral Music Scholarship must be in attendance in an audition and interview on January 29 at Holy Souls Catholic Church. There must be a performance (from the classical genre) on two selections of contrasting styles. Applicants are requested to bring their own accompanists. If not able, music is to be sent ahead for ACS accompaniment.

Arkansas High-Tech Scholarship Description

The Arkansas Hi-Tech Scholarship (HTS) program gives out an award of $250 per semester ($500/year) to residents of Arkansas who are citizens of United States, have graduated from a high school in Arkansas, have plans of enrolling or are enrolled full time in approved highly technical programs at Arkansas public post-secondary schools, demonstrate capabilities of leadership, and meet certain criteria in academics. Applicants who are graduating high school seniors are given preference for this scholarship application. Applicants must be in possession of a high school GPA of at least 2.5 during seven semesters, an ACT composite score of at least 19 (or, at least 730 on the SAT combined verbal and math if the ACT score is not available), or make it to be ranked in the upper ten percent of his/her high school graduating class. Each year, the application deadline is July 1st, in precedence to the applicable school year. (The basis n which applications received after this deadline might be considered if scholarship funds are/become available after the fall semester.) Description

This Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) is intended to provide supplemental financial assistance to those single parents residing in Arkansas who are in pursuit of a course of instruction that will improve their potential for income-earning potential. Description

This Army ROTC Green to Gold Scholarship program is awarded for two, three, or four years. Recipients will be in receipt of tuition or room and board support, additional money for textbooks, supplies, and equipment, and a monthly stipend for up to 10 months each school year. In addition to all these, they will receive funding for attending the Leader Development and Assessment Course (LDAC) between the junior and senior years of college. If qualification requirements are met, students may receive the benefit of Montgomery G.I. Bill/Army College Fund (MGIB/ACF).

Description

To be eligible for the research grant, the applicant must be in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing (LPN, RN, APN), hold a license in Arkansas Nursing and have graduated from an NLNAC or CCNE accredited program (this is applicable only to applicants who have completed a Baccalaureate in Nursing or Masters in Nursing).
